The beginning

It had been years since I have learn about the beginning of the world, or I actually don’t recall really learning or remembering how the world came to be.  The experience of our first class meeting when we sat outside, slightly cold and just being with nature, we learn about cosmic world and reading a story about the Universe. It was very different experience that professors would not do in a college setting but I would say it was quite pleasant.
The ideal that “half million years ago (4)" our species humans? Did not exist and that species were only limited one part of the world. The initial evidence of migration that took place in the world is called the Paleolithic Era. Paleolithic people were simple beings that evolve as Homo sapiens, and used basic stone tools such as stone blades, and hand axes. Since cars were not invented they had migrated by foot, watercraft. We may say evidence of the Paleolithic people existed perhaps by the Paleolithic people moving stuff with them such as tools used. DNA called Mitochondrial DNA was also another type evidence found in women that suggest Paleolithic people existed. Therefore it suggest that during the Stone Age time "homo sapiens had colonized the world” (5). It was said that they were one of the first groups to experience any environmental changes. What I found even more insightful is that Paleolithic people collected natural foods, and did not have farms to grow food. They were known to be hunters and gatherers, and which originated in Africa according to archaeological research.
Hunters and Gathers were one of the main roles of the Paleolithic people, and then a new era had risen, the era of the first Agriculture people. The Agricultural group were referred to as Neolithic. Which the Neolithic lived for such a short time but became the group of “agriculture Revolution.” Complex tools were used to plow, dig, grind, cut things, and make weapons. Socially, the Neolithic era marks the beginning of changes such as less migration. Neolithic people was one of the first groups to create settled agriculture communities, and people just stop moving.
The idea that before our species all continents in the world except Antarctic were inhabited by humans is amazing fact. When I was kid I always thought “god” was the person who made everything, and made only humans, but until middle school I learn about a homo sapiens by the name of Lucy who was 3 feet tall. I remember the image of her stuck in my mind for a very long time after that. By learning about the first Inhabitants by what archeologist have found is truly amazing that perhaps we derived from such species. Paleolithic and Neolithic marks the beginning of innovations, ideas, practices, beginning of fights for resources, agriculture practices, economy growth, and methods of survival came to play. That is why history is taught? Because we never really think about how we really became the people we are today.
